2012 recipient was Laura Napier, 57 years old, who ended her battle with cancer on January 30, 2013.

Many of you may already knew Laura and/or her family since she was a lifelong resident of Vacaville. Laura’s passion was art and she turned her passion into her life’s work.  She was an Art teacher who worked at Vacaville High School for many years and ended her career at Vanden High School shorty after her diagnosis.  The murals on both campuses were done by Laura’s art students. 

We appreciate your support for Laura last year and her friends and family will continue to be a big part of our event every year.
